These terms apply to the Make It Special website (makeitspecial.co.in) and to every order placed with Make It Special Gifting ("Make It Special", "we", "us"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to them.
1. Bulk and corporate orders only
We accept bulk orders from companies and organisations only, for teams, clients and company events. We do not accept individual, private or single-gift orders.
2. Gift ideas on this website
The gift ideas, picks and suggestions on this website (including "Someone special", "Gifts by occasion" and the Gift Finder) are general suggestions for inspiration only. They are not offers for sale. Items suggested may not be available from us, and availability is confirmed only in a written quote. Before using any idea, please check that it suits the recipient, your organisation's gift policy and the laws and rules that apply where you are.
3. Figures and claims
Figures shown on this website, such as the number of gifts delivered and years in business, are approximate and based on our own order records. They are provided for general information and are not a guarantee of any future result.
4. Quotes
- Every order is based on a written quote. Prices, products, quantities, personalisation and timelines apply only as stated in that quote.
- Quotes are valid for 15 days unless the quote says otherwise, and are subject to product availability.
- Nothing on this website is a price list or a commitment to supply.
5. Samples, proofs and approval
- Where offered, a sample or digital proof is shared for your approval before production.
- You are responsible for checking names, spellings, logos, dates and messages on proofs. Once approved, production proceeds as approved.
6. Personalisation and product variation
- Personalisation options differ by product and quantity.
- Many of our products are handcrafted. Small variations in colour, finish, size and packaging are natural and are not defects.
- Website images are for illustration; actual products may vary.
7. Timelines and delivery
- Production and delivery timelines are agreed in writing for each order. We encourage planning early, especially before festivals.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier or transport delays, weather, strikes or government restrictions.
- You are responsible for providing complete and correct delivery details.
- We currently deliver within India only.
8. Payment
Payment terms, including any advance, are as stated in your quote or invoice. Unless your quote says otherwise, 50% of the order value is payable in advance to confirm the order, and the balance is payable before dispatch.
9. Changes and cancellations
Changes or cancellations after proof approval or once production has started may not be possible and may be charged for work already done. Orders can be cancelled without charge before the proof or sample is approved. Personalised items cannot be cancelled once production has started.
10. Damage on arrival
Please report any damage or shortage within 48 hours of delivery, with photos or an unboxing video, so we can resolve it. Once we have checked the report, we will replace the damaged or missing items or issue a credit note for them.
11. Trademarks and client names
We do not show client names or logos on this website. Any third-party names or trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
12. Your information
When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or a form on this website, we use your details only to respond to you and to manage your enquiry or order. We do not sell your information. This website uses analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) and records how you arrived at the site, to understand which channels work.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
